Auros Pharma was created to bring a novel approach to medication development that would ensure safety, accessibility, and life-changing results. This will ultimately impact the lives of our patients and add an important tool for clinicians, allowing them to provide exceptional care for their patients.
Based on urgency and impact to our global communities, Auros Pharma prioritized the development of two medications: ResPen and AU1002.
ResPen is a medication to rescue victims of drug overdose who have stopped breathing, and AU1002 is a new medication in development that will help those trying to lose weight by controlling their appetite.

ResPen
ResPen is an innovative approach to treat respiratory arrest due to drug overdose from any medication or street drug. There are no medications on the market that are able to effectively treat respiratory arrest due to synthetic opioids, for example illegally manufactured fentanyl, or respiratory arrest due to overdose from non-opioid medications. ResPen solves this problem with an easy-to-use autoinjector that will provide an overdose victim with a targeted 30 minutes of lifesaving treatment until emergency services can be provided.
AU1002
AU1002 is a medication in the early stages of development that will help people with unwanted weight gain control their appetite without needles, stimulants, or addictive medications. While they eat a healthy diet and increase activity, their body will reset the appetite regulators in the brain so they don’t feel hungry all the time.
ResPen
Auros Pharma is dedicated to helping our communities live longer and live better. We are a community-informed, cost-conscious and socially-responsible company committed to making a difference.
With the development of ResPen, we hope to save lives. It will treat respiratory arrest due to any type of drug overdose – not just opiates – help those who accidently took a dangerous combination of medications or combined them with alcohol, and give a second chance to those struggling with addiction.
We want ResPen to be as easy to use as the self-administered epinephrine medications used by those with severe allergic reactions, and we are striving to keep the cost low so it is easily accessible.
Ideally, ResPen would be prescribed to:
- Patients who takes medication that could depress or arrest respiration, including elderly patients
- Patients who consume alcohol and are prescribed these medications
- Patients who have children who may accidentally access medication
- Those struggling with addiction, as well as their friends and family who may be able to help them in an emergency, should also have access to this important rescue medication.Aligned goals with responsible development of medications; you have an ally with Auros. AU1002
Obesity is one of the most prevalent conditions in the developed world, and it contributes significantly to mortality from diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and other related conditions. It remains a significant reason for decreased life expectancy and contributes hundreds of billions in healthcare costs in the United States alone.
The majority of patients who try to lose weight are unsuccessful at maintaining their accomplishment for extended periods, resuming the habits that caused them to become overweight. We believe by safely regulating the appetite of those who are trying to lose weight we can help them achieve their goals and keep the weight off.
Most prescription weight loss medications work with the help of potentially addictive stimulants and don’t work long-term. Other medications require painful injections and are costly.
That is why we are developing a solution that can help your patients lose weight while learning healthy habits and developing active lifestyles resulting in long-term weight loss.

ResPen
In 2020, more than 90,000 people in the United States lost their lives due to an overdose of medications or drugs that stopped their breathing. Almost half of these deaths were caused by legally prescribed medications and some of them were children who took medication accidentally.
Unfortunately, there is no option currently available to treat many of these overdoses, and that is why we are developing ResPen. ResPen is a new type of medication that will help victims who’ve stopped breathing due to any type of medication or drug overdose.
We are working hard to develop ResPen and ensure it’s safe and affordable so it is available to anyone in need. For more information, or to receive updates on our progress, please sign up here.
AU1002
Though the solution to lose weight is simple, it remains a challenge for almost everyone. The desire to overeat is strong for many people, and there are surprisingly few options to reduce the urge. Current medications are potentially addictive and short acting, inaccessible due to cost, or require injections to work.
That is why we are developing a non-addictive, affordable medication to help people curb their appetite while they learn healthy eating habits and increase activity under their provider’s guidance. For more information, or to receive updates on our progress, please sign up here.
